In the same way Austen's work is an insight into women's lives in the 19th Century , this book depicts how women live in the 21st Century - and Ward artfully communicates this in a similarly light-hearted and witty approach as Austen.
This book will be as fascinating to readers in 200 years time as it is entertaining today. A truly fabulous book.
I found this book brilliant. Every story in it either myself or my friends could relate to. It really made me laugh & I was so hooked I couldnt wait to get to the end of it.
This book highlights experiences every girl or boy can relate to, from the frist date nerves to the marriage demands everyone I know has been there. Charlotte has emphasised the majority of us all want to find love and happiness and lets hope we all do. A must read for anyone in or out of a relationship, Well Done Charlotte the best I have read in a long time!!! Thanks for brightening my day!! xxxx
Reading 'Why Am I Always The One Before The One' is like opening a bottle of wine with one of your funniest best friends, and hearing them pour out all of their dating triumphs and tragedies for your amusement. It's a really entertaining, enlightening, happy and easy to read book; perfect for tube rides, plane journeys, or the beach and to pass around amongst your friends. It's especially good if you want to know that you aren't alone in the perilous world of dating. I particularly enjoyed the chapter about all the different types of men whom women should avoid. Am looking forward to reading more by Charlotte Ward.
