She never fails to amaze, but this one astounded me beyond all comprehension! It was sooo much better than I thought it would be, and was laughing, and eventually crying, throughout! It is a brilliant read, full of twists, turns, emotion and believable characters. The scenarios she paints are so breathtakingly real you feel as if you can just step right into them. And as for the plot- Wow! It had me guessing, gasping and reaching for the tissues! I'm telling you now, if you buy 1 Jodi Picoult book this winter, buy this one. :)

This Book Is One Of The Best I Have Read In A Very Long Time. I Haven't Been Moved To Laughter And Tears So Much In The Same Book. You Will Be Hooked And Won't Want To Put It Down. Absolutely Fantastic And I Would Recommend Everyone Read It.

Although, at first, i found it a little confusing, i soon felt hooked to the storyline itself without a doubt. I love the charactors and i especially love the idea of the storyline, a must read for definate!

What an intriguing book. The main character Ross Wakeman succeeded the first time he killed himself but not the second or the third. Hows that for a first line to drag you in. The book is broken into three sections and although I found the first section quite hard going with the myriad of characters introduced from there on the story flowed right up to the final paragraph with all the loose ends tied up. I must admit that it wasnt the easiest of books to read and definitely not a quick read but such a great story that I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good ghost story.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Worth sticking with!

When I started this book I was a bit sceptical, I have read most of Jodi Picoults other stuff but just couldnt seem to get into this one. There are a lot of characters and it can get confusing at some points, I found myself refering back to remind myself who was who. But once you get about half way through it starts getting juicy and you get drawn in.
If you have got 1/4 of the way through it and are not sure, carry on-its worth it. All the characters come together at the end and there is a few twists that I was not expecting.
Also this one is not based as much in the court rooms as some of her other novels are so that was quite a nice change.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Quite good

A few too many characters to get your head around in the beginning. Good story overall. Maybe I need to get used to Jodi Picoult's style of writing as this was the first book I'd read by her. Was hard going but still wanted to pick it up and get to the end.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable read.

I found this book a bit confusing at the begining with all the jumping around but it does comes together really well in the end. I gave it a four star rating as the topic around ghosts is not for me, but I still found it an interesting and enjoyable read.

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars The worst she has written!!

This book was so hard to get into and even when you are half way through you are finding yourself wondering why you are wasting your time. This book is not one I would recommend. I love Jodi Picoult though and was disappointed to find this was not as good as most of her others.
