This book is split into two parts.
The first part being the story of acheron, his life growing up and to becoming what he is today. The author does go into a lot of details, and it does not have the joke factor which is well known in her books, but im glad it isn't there, acheron's life was a hard one, with no laughter, and that comes across in the story.
The second part of the book, is present day. This does contain the joke factor and is back to the acheron you have met so often in previous dark-hunter books. Acheron finds his woman, but can he keep her?
