I don't read much. I read this on the basis that the film was great.
This book did not let me down. Aside from it being a brilliant story it is also fantastically interesting.
C'est Magnifique!
Again, another belter from Dennis Lehane. I've yet to find a book by him that I didn't like. This story is gripping from start to finish..Go and get it !
I finished this book yesterday, and wow. It keeps you at the edge of yoru seat all the way through. It's touching, dark, comedic, and even all out horrible in places. Be warned, there are some very graphic descriptions of child abuse, and the ending doesn't leave you thinking "Wow, isn't life great?!" so much as "Jeez, what a world"
All that considered, a good read with plenty of twists.
