Barbara must say a final farewell to her four daughters. But how can she find the words? And how can she leave them when they each have so much growing up to do? Barbara's answer is to write each daughter a letter, finally expressing the hopes, fears, dreams and secrets she couldn't always voice.

Not as maudling as it sounds

Do not be put off by the sadness that this book suggests about someone losing their parent to cancer. It's a lovely read from various different characters perspectives living with the aftermath of someone close to them dying.

As a parent myself it crosses your mind what would happen if you left the world prematurely but this book gave a lot of food for thought. Undoubtably moving but also sometimes funny.

Definately worth a read 8 1/2 out of 10.

 Great Book

This is a great book and had just enough of everything in it. I struggled to put this one down and I'm looking forward to reading more of Elizabeth Noble's books.

I thought this was an excellent book, i couldn't put it down! It was an emotional rollercoaster of laughing one minute and in tears the next. I can't wait to read her other books.

Envoking tears of joy and sadness

This is a thoroughly good read. I could hardly put this book down, though was forced to at times if only to avoid crying on the commute to work. Equally funny as it is heartbreakingly sad.
