absolutely charming, this book about stephen fry's travelings in the USA. high quality paper and photography, this is a luxurious book.
and it comes in handy with seperate chapters and facts and stories about the different states; ideal to be read in stages and to be enjoyed over a long period. his style is very funny and if you've seen the tv-series, well there certainly can be made a comparison to louis theroux....
let's read this and have big fun.

A wonderful, beautiful book that is a joy to read. Stephen captures the true spirit of America in this book and shows us a side of the states that is mostly ignored by the British press. Simply fantastic.

This is the best book i've read this year. A fascinating look at life in America, which is not as glamorous as its made out to be on tv. Stephen Fry is at his usual comical best, giving his opinion on all the states as he visits them in his black cab. With lovely colour pictures, and facts on all the states, this is a great gift for anyone who likes a good non-fiction read.
