I never really got into books, only when i started working i got into books, and i ordered dexter as my 2nd book .. i loved it i just couldnt stop reading, once u go dexter u cant go back... 1 month later.. i read all 3 books.. watched season 1.. and nearly all of season 2, but youtube banned it :P .. I would serious recommend this book to anyone who enjoys thinking about what they are reading. Dexter is a great book, not for the light hearted with great visual skills

  Definately Different Dexter

I enjoyed this immensely despite it's significant differences from the tv show, the humour is both darker and more sarcastic than the show. A book with laugh out loud moments.

the book is better than the show...... only just though

A must read after watching the TV show, and has a simular back bone to the show but very different paths it goes through with the odd twist that you think you know the answer to from the show, but find yourself wrong. Follw Dexter go through his everyday double life, dealing with his real and fake self and staying away from danger whilst still doing his duties of the dark passenger and faces confusion and excitement from the ice truck killer. Cheap book, that is worth the read, plus if you are like me where you find reading a book can be a long process, well each chapter is keeps you gripped and each chapter to only 8-12 pages long, easy reading.

  Drivingly Different Dexter

I first saw the series and ordered this book a short while later. The book is in fact very different from the series and I would say that is a good thing, as I got surprised while reading it. And the best of this is that you have like two versions of Dexter; the books and the series. It will be very clear that the books differ from the series when you reach the end of the first book. Read it you won't regret it!

  Dexter is brilliant

Although the book is exactly the same as the tv programme so far, it is no short of brilliance

A Serial Killer With A Heart......

Be grateful its not yours.

Meet Dexter, he's a forensic scientist in Miami, his expertise is blood spatter, he's charming, handsome, works well with others, has a steady girlfriend, likes children and wants to help his sister become a detective. He's also a sociopathic serial killer but he only kills those who deserve it. Jeff Lindsay creates a unique character who keeps the reader's affections whatever he does. Very funny. The DVD box of the TV series is due soon
