Having read the first book in the trilogy, I looked forward to the second. Thankfully, the high standard of the first one continues here. I did find the first hundred or so pages a bit slow to be honest, but once the key event happens, you are carried along at a cracking pace. It may be just me, but felt a little let down by the implausible happening near the end of the book (I won't spoil it), but nevertheless a cracking read.
Another absolutely gripping istallment of the millenium saga with an explosive ending, couldnt put it down and am now on the third and final copy "The girl who kicked the hornets nest". For anyone who is reading and finding it a bit slow i urge you to continue reading!!!
The second book in Larssons trilogy is a real thrill, full of interesting, original and even somewhat twisted characters and packed with unexpected turns and twists. It kept me awake for a couple of nights and is absolutely worth buying if you enjoy a good thriller.
Read first book and just had to get second one...and was not not disapointed!! Excellent read, fast paced and intricate story. Waiting now for release of final one
