The books is just brilliant, who u think did the murders, well they did not, and best of all u dont find out untill the very end. Excellent reading.

I bought this book in a 3 for 5 quid offer and put it away. Forgot about it until I'd finished the others and decided to give this one ago. On 2 occasions I was convinced I knew who'd committed the murders but I was wrong. Such a good book, so well written that it has you hanging on every word.
The use of some very short chapters in the form of the murders
thoughts works so well and keeps you in the thick of it right to the end.
I enjoyed this so much that 'I'll be buying the rest in the Byrne/ Balzanno series.

Im a huge fan of "whodunnits" so i bought a Thriller boxset containing this book along with one by Kathy Reichs and one by Karin Slaughter (both of whom im a huge fan of.) This book was the first from Richard Montanari that I had read and ive just ordered the next 2!!
To start with i wasnt impressed because I was so sure I knew who the killer was - I couldnt have been more wrong.
Totally gripping thriller with excellent writing thoughout. I could not put it down, even my 4 year old daughter couldn't distract me!!
Highly recomended.
