For those who have seen the movie and loved it, i would definitely recommend this book as it is a million times better and the movie is nothing like the book really! I read this first and having heard so many great reviews about the movie, went to see it and was very disappointed, nothing compared to the book!

This book is up there with some of the greatest books I have ever read. It had everything: action, drama and the occasional comedy. Every chapter tells a different story about Indian Culture and the incredible tale of the boys life. Buy this book!

Nowadays India with all its peculiarities presented by a boy with an amazing distance to his difficult situation and sense of humour.
