If you buy only one book this summer, it should be this one. It's a huge amount of story, a generous book by any standards. Lee Child never disappoints me and this book has a cliff-hanger at the end of every chapter. The twists and turns of the plot are always credible despite the scary-I'd-rather-not-know-all-this concept.
If you have any kind of deadline to meet - an essay to finish , a ceiling to paint, or like early nights, don't start reading this book. You won't put it down. I liked it so much I started reading it again as soon as I'd finished.
After the huge disappointment of Lee Childs last book (Nothing to Lose), I am chuffed to bits that he seems almost back to his best.
This isn't the best Jack Reacher novel in the series, but I really enjoyed it. I don't want to say too much about the story because the twists start a couple of pages in, but if you enjoy Lee Childs books I dont think you will be disappointed. Can't wait for the next novel which hopefully should be this time next year!!
