Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking: Be a Happy Non-smoker for the Rest of Your Life | Paperback

I know it seems almost 'too good to be true' that a book can stop you smoking, but it really works. It looks at every aspect of smoking from a very different perspective, and cuts straight through a lot of the crap that we are taught/believe about smoking. For the first time ever, I could UNDERSTAND my own logical reasons for starting and continuing to smoke. It also explained why my previous attempts to stop had failed, and left me feeling gutted, hopeless and guilty.

The book is totally different - straightforward, enlightening and honest, it doesn't patronize and you just CAN'T argue with the mans logic.

The best way I can describe it is this: you get the same feeling that happens when you've been thinking about a problem for a while but haven't solved it yet - you happen to mention the problem to someone else and they instantly give you a valid and logical solution that you immediately know will work - the solution seems so logical that you feel it should have occured… more »

This time I knew I was stopping for good, rather than 'trying' to stop - I knew that I wasn't missing out or denying myself anything.

I did read most of the book twice before stopping - the first time I felt I read it too quickly (in a day), and hadn't time to digest a lot of the points covered, but I re-read it within a few weeks and it still worked perfectly.
