An excellent short story for a superb author. This really is a quick read due to the fast paced nature of this book, well crafted and delivered well. I found myself going through my everyday jobs thinking about the plot of the story, which is always a good sign of how much I enjoyed this.
This is an excellent fast moving short story about a young lad who is caught up in a robbery and murder. It's such an easy read that I passed it over to my teenage son who has never been known to voluntarily read a book, and he actually chose it for a school study. Finally a story he read and enjoyed! Well done Ian Rankin.
