  YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT

| | See all Mightyowl28's reviews (7)

this book/CD combo seriously is amazing. Ive been trying numerous diets for years and can never stick to them. A week after reading this book I feel so much better about food and am really confident I will lose weight now. This book/CD changes the way you think about food and, more importantly, yourself. The CD really does seem to send me into a very relaxed trance like status, you must be of the right attitude to want to take this seriously though

I feel I can write a review on weight lost as I have lost a lot of weight over the years trying this diet and that diet.
But I always put the weight back on, buying Pauls book was life changing.
First off this is NOT a diet book this is a simple fundamental new way of thinking about food, your relationship with food and the way you feel about yourself.
Paul McKenna talks a lot of sense, which is important because he will be doing a lot of talking to you.
The CD that comes with the book is a big part of the process he guides you, motivates you, and inspires you using suggestions. The CD is 25 minutes of pure joy and well worth the money on its own.
Like Paul says "you don't have to believe it you just have to do it". I am hooked I have had incredible results in only a few weeks. This really works please believe me;.
, I don't know how much weight I have lost because I haven't stepped on a set of scales in two months. You don't need to know what you weigh with Pauls amazing system you just know the weights falling off, and you feel amazing.
I now take regular exercise not because I have to but because I want to.
I cant praise Paul highly enough. Try it.
IT WILL WORK. Good luck.

I read hundreds of reviews about this book before i made the decision to buy, and already after less than a week i am so glad i did. Yes, everything in this book is pretty much common sense, and yes, its stuff we already know, but we wouldn't be buying this book if we already had a handle on our eating habits would we?
I have been obsessed with food for as long as i can remember, which was never an issue as i was at one time very active, however after developing ms 12 years ago it became a very big issue. Although i've never been massively overweight for my 5'2" frame, ive been carrying an extra stone or so for quite some time, whuch rises to about a stone and a half anytime i have steroid treatment. Ok, not as much as some but i just cannot get it off no matter what diet i try.
Until i tried this. In less than a week with listening to his cd and reading his book from cover to cover in an hour and a half my eating habits have completly tranformed. I stop eating when ive had enough, and dont eat again until i am actually hungry. Its as simple as that.
He says not to weigh yourself for at least 2 weeks, but some old habits die hard, and i snuck a quick glance at the scales this morning and ive lost 3lb. Not a huge amount, true, but when youve had as many steroids as ive had in the last 12months it may as well have been 3 stones. I was so happy i felt like crying, all that in 5 days.
Buy this book if you have made a serious decison to lose weight, it could change your life.

  No more guilt!

This is definitly worth a try for anyone who wants to lose weight and be more positive about their body. The CD is a bit cheesy but is very relaxing. I have only be using this programme for 2 weeks and can already feel the difference both through weight loss but also I have been much more positive and happy in general. Its mostly that all the guilt surronding food and exercise is lifted and paul mckenna allows you to eat whatever you want as long as you are actually hungry. Definitly recommended!!

  More self help nonsense??

The book is pretty much common sense - diets make you obsess about food, only eat when you are hungry and stop eating when you are full. The book tell tells you to enjoy all foods but only if you are hungry - not bored, upset, happy or whatever reason..

I have been listening to the CD on my MP3 player for the last 8 days and although I keep forgetting exactly what the CD is saying (my mind must be really easy to mess with) it does seem to be helping. I have been dieting for 9 years and I always become obsessed with food and my weight goes up and down with binge eating and starvation. With this book I am naturally eating less and I don't feel like I'm depriving myself. In fact my boyfriend was eating a chocolate bar and I wasn't even bothered about having any. My attitude towards food has totally changed. I'm still eating in restaurants and ordering exactly what I want but I'm not stuffing myself and if I'm full I'll leave the food and I wont order a pudding just for the sake of it.

You are discouraged from weighing yourself but my jeans are slightly loser around my waist.

Over all I feel better about myself and more in control of my eating. Whether or not I lose all my extra weight is still to be seen but I don't feel I have starved over the last week and I feel positive about reaching my goal weight.
