  Good one to own.

This is a really helpful book and you could probably just have this one alone throughout your pregnancy and it would be enough. Has a slight comedy edge too, which at times I find rather funny. However the comic illustrations are not enough for me, with currently being pregnant with my first baby I need more realistic pictures to get a better understanding and picture of what's going on. So I have now ordered "Pregnancy Bible", bit more expensive but hey-ho.

A must have. Totally excellent. Got me the the best and the worst of it with lots of laughs and practical advice giving me support where no-one else could or I was too shy to ask. Going to get the next one The Rough Guide to Babies & Toddlers and hope that's just as good.

This is an excellent book for all pregnant women and their partners....my husband would always read the weekly updates before I had chance and then tell me what was going on! Its a fun book, which you need at times to stop you from stressing and it isnt gorey like some of the more classic pregnancy books. I bought this book in the early stages of my first pregnancy, leant it to a friend (who now cant find it!) so am buying it again for my second pregnancy.

  fantastic for first-timers

this is a brilliant quirky book full of little facts and honnest information so rarely found during pregnancy. it has a week by week development of mother and baby, combined with funny and truthful diaries and then a chapter of advice and information relating to that week of pregnancy. I have read this bookm form cover to cover then gone back for more!! fantasticly funny and honnest

A must have buy for all pregnant women!

The information given to me by my midwife was factual and obviously good for reference but was somewhat dull in places! I loved the way this book gives you details week by week with EVERYTHING you need to know! No holds barred!! All the embarassing bits are covered as well as the technical stuff! Its a great read that had me in stitches (not good as you get near the end with baby resting firmly on your bladder) !!!

This book is great for men too as its not too much to read each week which was great for my hubby as he found all the literature far too overwhelming!!
