Astonishing X-Men | Hardback

Joss (BUFFY) Whedon showed his love and appreciation of the classic X-men characters when he teamed up with the astounding artist John Cassaday to produce ASTONISHING X-MEN.

Their tales reference the classic X-men stories of yore, while being new and fresh enough to have influenced the plot of X-men 3 (well, the good bits of it anyway!).

All the characters are brilliantly written and characterised, and Cassaday mixes the best action set-pieces with exquisite facial expressions and character moments .

Not only that, but this features the return to the X-men of Kitty Pride AND the resurrection of Colossus.
