Loved this book from start to finish. Hilarious and sad at the same time. His descriptions of people and places in his life are just so vivid you are there with him on his journey. A great buy. Cant wait for the second part. Thank you Paul for this great book.

Great read & can't wait for the 2nd installment..

Being born and bred in Birkenhead myself i eagerly awaited Paul O'Grady's Autobiography and boy oh boy i was not disappointed at all. This was such a treat from the first page until the last and has wetted my appetite to read his highly anticipated second installment which should be just as brilliant. It was fascinating to read about so many familiar things from his life like the people and places of Birkenhead. His use of words is wonderful and it is a book that will have you roaring with laughter at times yet also feeling sad at other times. All in all the perfect read i have to say. But yes maybe i am a tad biased but i simply cannot help it.

I dont normally read this type of book but i like Paul O' Grady and thought i'd give it a go. I laughed so much and then cried, he's been through a lot but his life has been fun created by the people he loved around him. This book is well worth reading and highly recommended.
