Race To The Pole | Hardback

For the first time since Scott's ill-fated race to Antarctica against Amundsen in 1913, a handful of teams from around the world have been granted permission to race each other, on foot, across Antarctica -- starting on New Year's Day and dragging their food, their tents (and their rubbish) with them. This time, however, two hardnut Norwegian teams will be up against double-Olympic Gold medallist James Cracknell and TV presenter Ben Fogle.
