I started this diet on a Friday and by Monday was feeling very ill with the cold and shakes i also couldn't focus on anything and felt as though i were in a fog( not a good idea in my job). I decided to continue the benefits of juicing but to add a protein meal during the day like chicken soup or eggs with veg. I am a tea and coffee pot so i cut down rather than cut out to just three cups a day. I have not noticed any weight loss but my gums are a lot better than they were. Hope you get on better than i did and good luck.

This plan really does work. It's not easy but with the help of the book (literally having to read it everyday to keep your mind focused), it can definintely be achieved. I lost over 7lb in the week, felt amazing and looked great BUT if you don't have a goal or plan for the following weeks you can forget it !!!! I know this from experience as I soon started eating those foods I'd missed and the weight returned (of course it did !!!! durrrrr). This time I've bought the next book - the 14 day plan to follow as soon as the 7 day plan is over so that the weight can stay off and hopefully, my juicing habits will stick with me for life. Good luck to everyone.

It's amazing to find out just how easy it is to loose weight in such a healthy way, by just juicing fruits and vegetables. The book did what promised, I lost just over 7 lbs and feel so much healthier. I no longer have uncontrollable cravings for junk food either, after the detox my body just no longer craves junk food. This book will change your life!

  Hard work but does the job!

Set out on this journey highly sceptical but after a boozy weekend away (during which I consumed enough alcohol to sink a small ship) I decided it had to be good for my body. I didn't find the plan easy to stick to and, despite what the book tells you, I was hungry a bit of the time. I also suffered terrible headaches and could have slept non stop through the first three days - such was the overwhelming tiredness. However (and I can't believe I am actually writing this) I woke on day 5 to feel completely energised. Seriously - I felt like I had so much energy and walked the entire day non stop. Even at 1am I was sat reading as I was still buzzing too much to sleep! The last couple of days were a breeze and, whilst completely happy with the extra energy I was enjoying, I found out I had also lost exactly 7lbs. The whole experience has made me contemplate seriously considering keeping on with the juicing in the long run.

The juices are very easy on the palate and I even found that some of my favorites turned out to be the ones which, when I first looked at the ingredients, I thought 'yuk'. This isn't a cheap plan to follow however and I think I spent well over £50 on fruit and veg for the seven days (yup, I didn't think that was possible either). The supplements that are reccommended also don't come cheap (you are advised to order them of the web site) but I found equivalent products at Holland & Barrat for less. I thought it was a lot of mumbo jumbo when I started but am definitely in this for the long run now as the results speak for themselves!
I got a couple of his other books too and find his whole writing style informative, motivational and interesting without being in the least patronising.
Definitely a 5 star rating.

Fantastic book changed my life and bad food habits after reading this book , but didnt loose 7 pounds i lost 10 pounds so if you are serious about losing weight buy this book
