I read it within 5 days but I was not so impressed. Good solid plot but I missed the chemistry between Tempe and Ryan which made all the other books so readable and interesting. The focus was almost only on her work, not her private life as a woman, lover and mother. The daughter was mentioned a few times, even the estranged husband with his soon to be "busty" wife ... but where was the relationship with the unbelievable blue eyed detective? Yeah they worked together, he made suggestions to spend the evening but nothing happend other than a few meals and none with the former witty banter that made all the other ones so enjoyable.
