Lara has always had an overactive imagination. Now she wonders if she is losing her mind. Normal twenty-something girls just don't get visited by ghosts! But inexplicably, the spirit of Lara's great aunt Sadie - in the form of a bold, demanding Charleston-dancing girl - has appeared to make one last request: Lara must track down a missing necklace Sadie simply can't rest without. Lara's got enough problems of her own. Her start-up company is floundering, her best friend and business partner has run off to Goa, and she's just been dumped by the love of her life. But as Lara spends time with Sadie, life becomes more glamorous and their treasure hunt turns into something intriguing and romantic. Could Sadie's ghost be the answer to Lara's problems and can two girls from different times end up learning something special from each other?

 Weird story but good writing

After a while without any Sophie Kinsella book, I was happy to learn she had written another one, so I ordered it right away. The style is absolutely great: funny, easy to read and with lots of nice twists to the story. But the story itself, with the gost-great-aunt was a bit too far feched for me. Especially in the beginning of the book I had trouble with the story. It was only because of the writing that I did not put the book down. The second half of the book I was able to get over the weird gost-thing and started to see the gost as an actual character. Also the story turned and became much more interesting. So in the end I likes reading it and enjoyed. But for me the other books (the shopaholic books, undomestic godess and remember me) are better.

 Sounds like a good read!

This book us going to be another top seller from Sophie Kinsella. Sounds like a good book to read, any chick lit fans should buy this book. I enjoyed all her books especially the shopoholic series. I hope there will more of becky bloomwood. Well for now I'll enjoy this book when it's out as I have it pre ordered.

Top 100 Books Reviewer

After months of reading quite depressing 'chick lit' stories this really made me happy! At first, reading the back of the book I was wary and wondered how a ghost story about finding a necklace would be any good, but once i started reading it i found that it really hit the spot for what i was looking for. It's easy to read and has a brilliant storyline. My only complaint is that the hardback version is clumpy and heavy and hard to read in the bath.
