Roam Black Large Watch

1. The watch is £9.99 so to the people expecting a backlight and stopwatch and flawless design - I'll say again, it's £9.99.
2. It won't break if you roll it on to your wrist. If it does refer to point number 1 (it's £9.99 not a rolex)
3. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS PEOPLE - it's simple to set the time and date then!
4. The time and date are set by pressing 2 tiny buttons under the watch face - which can be done with a paper clip or similar. In fact i used my girlfriends earing - simples.

Basically what you see is what you get. It's like a livestrong bracelet (or any of the other zillion charity bracelets) but a better fit and with the time on it. It's waterproof and light weight. I use mine when doing sport, jogging, snorkeling etc etc. It serves it's purpose perfectly and looks decent enough. I wanted it for practicality but I'm sure it'd be a fashionable accessory for many.

I bought three as xmas presents, one for a teenage and one each for a couple in the twenties. All three love them. They're retro and their funky and the save the world version gives more that a fashion statement. My teenage son in particular won't take his off which is an advantage as he lost his previous watch during a school games lessons when he was forced to remove it. He keeps the breo watch on and its stong and durable enough to face a rugby tackle. He actively takes more showers now to see if the water resistance theory works! And apparently it does! The manufacturers should claim that it can keep your teenagers clean! Highly recommended.

Bought one a week ago to take on hols as i didn't want to take a more expensive one and it get lost/broken etc.

I have quite small wrists so the 17cm one is OK but a bit tight to get on - if you roll it on rather than pull it on then you should not have a problem with strap snapping as others seem to have done.

You can set the watch to alternate between Hours/Minutes and Day/Month. On the Hours/Minutes screen the word BREO flashes to show the seconds ticking and also allows you to know it is the Hours/Minutes screen and not Day/Month (just in case of confusion)

Wore it non-stop and so in the pool and showering and no problems so far.

All in all a good price for a basic but very comfortable piece of kit - and a choice of 25 colours to boot!

A backlight would be useful but not a deal breaker for me.

hopeless at keeping the time, which seems to me kind of important in a watch.
(on top of that, setting the time - which you need to do a lot - is really fiddly)

Given to me as a present from the sisiter in law. Have since told her its the best present she's ever given me, and the most used. This watch was perfect for holiday. My normal watch is a much bulkier G-shock which leaves a large tan line if worn on holiday, or i find i am forever checking that i haven't lost it if left in the rucksack/beachbag. The holiday was Egypt so the watch stood up to the silly 40+ degree temps, was never taken off while swimming in the pool and the sea or whilst training in the gym. I don't normally wear a watch while running but this watch is so light its unoticable so never bothered to take it off).
All in all a great cheap product which is perfect for telling the time in the gym or on holiday.
Not in my opinion a fashion excesory or a product that will last a life time, but for 7.99 i don't care if it stops working tomorrow i will just get another one.
