The creative minds behind Disney/Pixar's groundbreaking animated blockbusters invite you back inside the toy box for a heartwarming and hilarious movie experience you'll never forget. In Toy Story 3, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) and the rest of the Toy Story gang return for an all-new adventure, along with a few new faces - some plastic, some plush - including Barbie's counterpart Ken (voiced by Michael Keaton), a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants (voiced by Timothy Dalton) and a strawberry-scented bear named Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear (voiced by Ned Beatty).

As Andy prepares to depart for college, Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the rest of Andy's faithful toys wonder what will become of them. But, when a mix-up lands them at Sunnyside Daycare, they meet a host of new toys and soon discover a wild new adventure is just beginning. Buzzing with hours of bonus features, including the Pixar short film Day & Night, Toy Story 3 goes to infinity and beyond!

As a big fan of the Toy Story films, I have eagerly waited for the latest (and possibly last?) - Toy Story 3.

Decided to see the 2D version and pay less, because the 3D versions have not really impressed me that much to be honest. Nothing will be equivalent to Disney's 4D special effects cinemas (where you get the full experience - not only 3-D, but moving seats - say if you are watching a car on a bumpy road, wind or rain on your face, feeling ants running about your feet etc...)

The film did not disappoint, however I've got to say this film is a lot darker than the previous two Toy Story films (The 1st one still being my favourite). There were a few scary moments in the film (even for me!), so I would hesitate about taking young children. There was a little girl about 6yrs old next to me and she was terrified towards the end and ended up cuddled up to her mum. In the film, there are a couple of new characters in the kids daycare nursery who were rather scary too - Dolly and the Security Monkey. The Dolly reminded me of a doll from the horror film 'Child's Play', and the Security Monkey had scary eyes. Also Lotso the cuddly bear turned out to be a bully who had issues.

However on the brighter side, the story was full of comical moments (where the audience were in stitches!) which I won't go into (don't want to spoil it for you!) However I will say that Buzz turns out to be quite the Lothario...! And there is also a lot of suspense, especially towards the end. And tears all round when Andy leaves for College. Very cleverly done overall. Hats off to Disney - Pixar once again for another fantastic film.

 Simply magical

I expected great things from the third instalment of the amazing toy story series both in story and picture quality on blu ray. I was overwhelmed by both. Right from the start Pixar excelled in picture quality and the story line is funny and very emotional right from the start. A fantastic story line culminating in an end scene that will have the hardest person welling up with tears. Simply put not only the best film of the three but one of the best films in years.

 DVD not Dutch Subtiteld

It's a great follow up of the first 2 movies.

Be carefull the DVD doesn't have any Dutch subtitles only English.

 Pixar have done it again..

Once again Pixar have managed to do it again. Another totally brilliant film for any child, adult, grandparent, or just generally a family film! Seeing the toy's on their final adventure with the amazing storyline followed on from toy story 1 and 2, this film just never will dissapoint. I have watched this countless times now and it always brings a tear to my eye. You would have thought by now that Pixar's films would get a bit boring, and that they always do the same thing and that you might tell whats going to happen, but trust me, I don't know how they do it, but they do! Definitely a must buy!
