Pixar Animation Studios, the creator of Toy Story 3, whisks you away on an astonishing adventure to an ancient land full of mystery and tradition. Bursting with heart, unforgettable characters and Pixar's signature humour.

Take a heroic journey with Merida, a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land. When Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos in the kingdom, she must harness all of her skills and resources - including her clever and mischievous triplet brothers - to undo a beastly curse before it's too late, and discover the meaning of true bravery. It's legendary on Disney Blu-ray with never-before-seen bonus features!

i took my 13 year old daughter to see this at the cinema and the movie had a good start with the story being intresting and funny..
as ever the animation and sound was spot on..
but as the movie progressed it started to loose its way and you felt the story wasnt flowing smoothly and they were beginning to run out of ideas
the jokes were coming few and fare and even though it was a cartoon my daughter looked bored..
as for the previous reviewer saying pixar can do no wrong well maybe they cant when it comes to animation but the animation also needs a good story which my daughter and i felt it lacked..
all in all you need to watch before you take the plunge and buy..

 Great Fun :-)

5 stars for Animation and Sound , Alas the film which started very well died a little in the 2nd half and could have had more in the story although still very enjoyable .
