From Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Director Gore Verbinski (Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise) come Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in The Lone Ranger. Filled with action and excitement, this thrilling adventure brings the famed masked hero to life through brand-new eyes. Native American warrior Tonto (Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice. It's a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction, as these two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

Not as Dreadful as you may think.

I have given this movie four stars for a couple of reasons, 1st its not as bad as you may think, I remember watching the tv series in the early seventies and lets be honest the show was slow and boring full of padding to make it last the full 20mins of air time!!!!. Unlike the tv show this movie has some real gem of action and humour momments. The script may be a bit flat at times and the film itself is a little stretched for two and a half hours but i'll be honest I enjoyed it and that's the most important thing.

 exceeded expectations!

Really didn't expect much from this film as reviews weren't great at time of release but having watched it, found it enjoyable. Although it is a bit on the long side, it is more than watchable. Found it funny and action was good. would watch again...well worth a watch!
