Monsters, Inc. is the largest scare factory in the monster world and the top Kid-Scarer is James P. Sullivan (John Goodman), a huge, intimidating monster with blue fur, large purple spots and horns, known as "Sulley" to his friends. His Scare Assistant, best friend and roommate is Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), a lime green, opinionated, feisty monster. And visiting from the human world is Boo, a tiny girl who turns the monster world upside down and teaches Sulley and Mike that laughter is more powerful than a scream.

 Best Pixar film by far!

Whilst there isn't a bad pixar film, this is the funniest by far - the sully/mikey relationship is priceless. There's an element of Mikey in most of us, ever the optimist and slightly crazy. Remember Children are killing machines!
Oh, yes there an awesome sweeded version on You Tube
As with these films, the Blu Ray should be excellent on the large screen plasma or projector.

Monsters Inc shines onto Blu-ray....absolute Pixar magic

Monsters Inc is undoubtedly up there with the best Pixar releases to date and this simplistic story of Sulley(voiceover John Goodman) the loveable monster who is top of the scream parade along with Mike (voiceover Billy Crystal) his amicable wisecracking sidekick shines onto blu-ray with a fantastic vibrant crystal clear transfer that is glorious in every sense....Watch out for Boo the little girl Sulley befriends as he looks to top up on his screams....The textures on Mike the little one eyed monster are such that they have never been seen in standard dvd...this is really a no brainer must buy in picture quality alone but add in a DTS 5.1 HD sound option and this really puts the icing in the cake....The surround is very detailed and loud and is a definite step up on dvd also....This is one of the quality blu-rays from Pixar again and it is a must buy for anyone who wants to upgrade from dvd....pure genius...The storyline of Mike and Sulley being top employees of Monsters Inc factory in Monstropolis where Monsters transfer children's screams into energy almost like electricity....Sulley befriends Boo a loveable little girl with big brown eyes who he takes a liking too in one of his outings and who goes against company policy as humans of any kind can contaminate Monsters...What follows is one of the must touching Pixars that captured the world over with it's magical storyline that makes it sheer class in animation terms.....

 Beautiful and hilarious

Just the thought of a monster team like Mike and Sulley is more than a little improbable...and in the context of Monstropolis as a world, is nothing short of hilarious...little in-jokes that crack you up.

Couple the above with the beautiful rendering of Blu-Ray, and the effect is mesmerising. the hair on Sulley is nothing short of breath-taking.

One of my favourites, and a great translation to High-Def.

 Best looking Bluray out there

Like most bluray addicts, I was eagerly awaiting the release of this (and other Pixar) films. This dropped through the letterbox, and into the PS3. All I can say is WOW. The picture quality is absolutely incredible. Every strand of hair on Sully is visible, and it just looks gorgeous. Colours are vibrant and depth amazing. You simply owe it to yourself to own this bluray, if nothing else to see just what it is capable of. Sound too just blew me away. I always remembered this film fondly, but when it looks and sounds as perfect as this, it has went up to a whole new level. I cant wait for the likes of The Incredibles and Finding Nemo now. At £13.99 this is amazing value for money.
