Maggie (Hathaway) is an alluring free spirit who won't let anyone - or anything - tie her down. But she meets her match in Jamie (Gyllenhaal), whose relentless and nearly infallible charm serve him well with the ladies and in the cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie's evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love.

Based on Jamie Reidy's memoir "Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman."

 Entertaining and enjoyable movie

I just received this bluray from USA where it had an earlier release, and found the film to be entertaining and funny in parts. Hathaway in particular is excellent. The Bluray has a consistent solid picture, with good blacks and sharp images. Recommended if your a fan of the genre or either of the 2 leads.

 excellent romcom with a difference!!

i watched this movie on blu ray and the picture quality is excellent all the way through. i found the movie to be very funny but also sad at times as its not your usual romantic comedy due to an illness suffered by anne hathaways charachter. i would strongly recommend love and other drugs to both guys and girls.

 rom com thats serious

love the portrayal of "parkinsons" disease and the way the subject matter is dealt with. The scene at the convention related to the illness is both emotional and hilarious. Some really poignant moments that make you go awwwwww, and some really dodgy love scenes that leave you feeling a bit embarrassed! not one to be watched with your mates put it that way! Jake and anne both give brilliant performances and the movie shows that love really does hold no boundaries. Be warned this isnt your average rom com as it does have a very serious aspect to its plot but all in all some very funny moments and some fantastic acting from anne.

to be honest i found this a bit boring and too serious at times. if i have to watch a rom-com i like them light-hearted and cheerful. not a bad movie, just not great.
