An amazing film with brain, heart and soul!

When reading the summary, I thought this would be one of these over-sentimental dramas that suck the life out of you, but boy was I in for a surprise! This is one of the rare gems of a film that manage to make you laugh one moment and have you in tears just shortly after that.

What I like is that even the dramatic and tragic scenes are played the way they would happen in real life without the ring of violins or people crying in slow motion ... tools too often used in lesser films.

Sterling performances from everyone involved, but with Lerman and Watson standing out in particular, this film will take you on a ride and not let you go before the end credits roll. Provided you let it, of course. ;)

I have not been so moved by a coming of age film since "Stand By Me" and "Dead Poet Society" and I firmly believe that this film is right up there with these milestones in film history! As a matter of fact, just remembering some of its more poignant moments brings tears to my eyes weeks after I have seen it.

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."
