Poor Effort and totally lacks the spirit of the Original, this movie was just not needed.
John Goodman is an excellent choicde and I like that the mentioned Cab Calloway and John Belushi - too many people are airbrushed out.
Yes, set peices and and sillienss and a weak plot just like the first but amazing music and another couple of hundred police cars written off. Some moments of great acting as well.
Sit back and enjoy it.
