The Bodyguard (Blu-ray)

until tonight i hadn't seen this movie for many years, to be honest i'd forgotten just how good it really was.
given the recent tragedy, the film has surely become 'a must own'
the story---tells of 'successful singer and actress 'rachel marron' recieving threats against her life, this brings in 'security specialist' ( bodyguard ) 'frank farmer'
the security she has in place is a joke, 'frank' needs 'rachel's' complete co-operation to enable him to protect her.
he gets stiff resistance from her aid's and herself, but it's got to be his way or he walks.
among his many rules..........'don't get involved'
will 'frank'' be able to protect 'rachel'
this was 'whitney's' first movie, in truth she had the world at her feet at this time,she was ''a true 'star' a great talent, so sad that she lost her way in life for many years.
this is a great movie, a must own on this format...surely.
footnote....if you love this lady's music and want just one 'CD' reflecting her ability in the 'disco' soul' and 'pop' scene, you'll not go far wrong if you buy the '2-CD greatest hits' album........has most of her well known tracks on board.

I was so happy when they had released this on Blu-Ray! This is my 2nd favourite movie in the world and I have to say that the start was a little grainy, although it got much better towards the scene where 'The Bodyguard' was being asked 4 the job :) The sound and scenes are all great for this movie of 1992 :)

Enjoy it! It has the same Special Features as the Special Edition DVD version.
