When released back in 1997, Titanic was the most expensive film ever made. Looking back, it's easy to see why. The special effects, for the most part still look as fresh as they did originally and the 3D conversion (the best I've seen so far) adds a whole new level of depth and clarity to the film.
The story, while familiar now, still managed to keep me hooked all the way through, although I was glad that it was split over 2 discs as that gave me a good excuse for a 5 minute break (it's a long film).
If you're one of the few people who has yet to see Titanic this would be the best place to start. The 3D (as said above) is breath-taking and the surround sound is amazing and also adds to the experience. This is how films should be converted and bought to blu-ray.

i was a little sceptical about the quality for this movie.. but when i saw it i couldn't belive it... amazing job oh the 3-d version, superior sound and to anyone interresting this box set has greek subtitles too among other subtitles not mentioned on the info provided from play.com. a must have box for titanic lovers.. enjoy!!!
Just watched this great film in 3d and it didnt let me down.If your a fan of the movie and you own a 3D tv then you have to own this.Fantastic picture..........probrably the best i've seen pound for pound considering the movies age ,and although the 3d doesnt hit you in the face as such,it has great depth and drags you into the film and fully immerses you.3 hours plus of pure entertainment.Go on... treat yourself.
