Twilight is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change.

Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she's ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn't have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella's soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance.

To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when a clan of new vampires - James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) - come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?

Kristen Stewart moves to a small town called Forks which is in Washington and she falls in love with Robert Pattinson who is a vampire. Kristen knew he had some type of special powers when Robert saved her from an out of control car with one hand. Robert and his family are good vampires because they only feed on animals. There are other vampires near by who feed off only people and Kristen's scent smells the best and even Robert is finding it hard to control himself. For all you people that like baseball you haven't see nothing as cool as a vampire game of baseball. These vampires can run like Superman and climb trees like Spiderman. So is the sexy romance between Kristen and Robert going to end in tears or not, well you will just have to watch this most excellent film to find out won't you!

 Dull

Its quite clear from some of, well actually almost all of the reviews on here are from die hard Twilight fans in that the film can do no wrong. To say and may have that its 'perfect', 'flawless' 'Greatest movie ever' clearly dont see very many movies. This is a 150% chick flick with a vampire trapping to make it hip and cool but its not either, the acting is wooden and akin to something you would see on The OC or 90210.

I can see why the female population, particularly the tweens would love this but for most non readers of the books or males I doubt very much anyone will come away thinking this is anything more than dull.

The movie is all hype and no substance, Buffy did this type of love story with Buffy/Angel and then Buffy/Spike but at least that had good writing and acting.

And now I expect every Twilight fan to give my review the thumbs down.

It was an excellant movie. Loses one star as it leaves out a lot of stuff from the book which I felt could have been included in the movie and would have made it even better.
Seen it on blue-ray and special effects were excellant.

 Great quality

hiya i loved the books and the film i really liked, although i do think thye missed a big chunk of the best bits out of the film. the film is good for teenagers and is mainly aimed at them, although im in my 40s and im loving the whole twilight saga phenomenon.

you have to be a fan to understand the film as the storyline was written to that effect like you already knew what was going on, if you have not read the books you will be a little confused by the film as it wont make much sense.

and i am glad i can finally sit and watch a film relax and hear no swearing or mutilation of bodies, it can sometimes get boring watching that sort of film over and over again. so yeah happy to just sit back and relax cant wait now for my dvd and bluray to arrive.
