Grand Canyon Adventure: River At Risk (2D & 3D) (Blu-ray)

I bought this after buying a 3D TV and looking for something that really showed off the 3D, I have been to the Grand Canyon a bunch of time and will always maintain that you cannot capture the sheer scale of the canyon, even in 3D its still missing the massive scale that is simply breath taking. The film is mainly about the river running through the canyon rather than the canyon itself (clue is in the title!!) but having said that there are still lots of shots of the canyon itself. My 2 criticisms would be that its quite short at 44 mins and the bonus features are not in 3D, that said its still absolutely stunning, the best 3D I have seen so far on my TV and the closest I think we will come to actually appreciating the true glory of The Grand Canyon without actually being there.

The intro and titles are taking far too much time and the movie is not about the grand canyon but mostly about some people walking, rafting and filming there. So, it's the people you mostly see. The sometimes strange use of lenses deliver a unpleasant bended image. The montage is also poor, sometimes when it starts to get interesting they switch to some stills (....)There are however some seconds of nice footage, but that is too little to make this title worth buying.

The 3D is great. I don't need to visit grand canyon as already been there with my 3D TV. great soundtrack.

this was the first 3d i watched on my 3d tv it was really good i enjoyed the story from start to finish the photography was good and the bit with the train was amazing very interesting to see how it was like all them years ago well worth buying colour is amazing to

The story is mainly about the falling water levels due to global warming and increased consumption. I agree with previous review about unpleasent bended images with special lenses, This sometimes felt like one eye was out of focus in 3d mode. Over all the 3d experience is quite good especially the rapids scene.
