It does not work on the Sony PS3. If you go to the "HDscape" website they will offer you a free replacement disc that will work on the PS3.
They stated something was wrong with the encoding process and that it should be fixed in all future releases of the Fireplace disc.
As far as the quality, I have no idea as I am waiting to get a replacement disc. Hope this helps.
This is Ok. Basicly its the same fire but from different views. Is alright, dont be to eager though, I think they could have made it look more realistic (to looks like it was a real fireplace in your livingroom) for one putting the fire directly in the middle of the screen. If you had a real fireplace and a HD camcorder you could have easily done better job. Cant wait to get my HD camcorder and see what I can come up with ! Its ok,the only one on the market (so your probably going to buy it anyway, like I did)at the moment,and being so cheap I would buy it just to show off your new Plazma/LCD.

Thanks to BBulldog for the information on the PS3 compatibility.
If you go to their website (hdscape.com), they will send you a free replacement. They will send you a prepaid envelope which you need to put your original disk in (just the disk, not the case). Once they have received your disk, they will send a replacement.
They did say that they are recalling the disks and all future releases will work on the PS3.
