Reading the first review, I was a little perturbed to read that apparently there were duff discs out in circulation and that Duke allegedly weren't doing anything about it.
Being a fan of bike racing and in particular the TT, I can't avoid having Duke DVDs or BluRays if I want a record of that years races, so I took it upon myself to ask Duke direct, as I'd dearly like the 2011 season review on my Chrimbo present list.
An email was sent raising my concerns and Duke promptly replied, admitting that yes, there was a problem with the original master of the TT 2011 Review on blu-ray, but it had since been corrected with a new master and sound and pictures synchronisation has been corrected.
But no mention of what would happen if I was unfortunate to buy a duff copy, so another email was sent asking about that as well, and in short I was told that anyone that had bought one of the faulty blu-rays can send it back to get a replacement.
So there you have it. There was a problem, but there isn't anymore. And should you be unlucky enough to purchase a duff copy, Duke will replace it.
Having seen a lot of this years footage on ITV4s coverage, I know full well that there hasn't been a repeat of the previous years crap on-bike footage, and that the high speed footage was simply jaw dropping, I have no doubt that the 2011 review will be as good as in previous years.
Phew, that's a relief.
Merry Christmas TT fans ;0)
