Saw this at the cinema one afternoon and only chose to go and see it as nothing else was showing until much later. I'm an old cantankerous git and very little impresses me these days. However TT Closer to the Edge was such fantastic docu film that I subsequently went back to the cinema to watch it another two times dragging along various members of my family. The film has it all, suspense, funny moments, exciting action and a real human interest in the story which spans the TT weekend on the Isle of Man. Guy Martin is one of the main focuses of the film and provides many of the humerous moments with funny off the cuff comments. John McGuiness, Michael Dunlop, Connor Cummings and Ian Hutchinson all feature throughout and the film follows each riders/racers experiences. Even if your not into TT racing at all you will find this film enthralling as you get an appreciation for the sheer dedication, passion and courage these guys have for their chosen sport. You can't fail to be amazed as they race through public roads at over 200MPH centimeters from kerbs, houses, lamposts etc. I can't wait to buy this on Blu-ray when it comes out as it's the best docum film I ever seen by far and in the top 5 films I seen of all time. Some recomendation from an old git like me!!

This is a great film documentary on the most exciting and most dangerous Road Races there is, you don't have to be into motorcycles to watch this film as its about the people, but there are Bikes in it for sure, and how the riders get on and just ride knowing the risks involved and why they love it so much, and the families and friends that support them along the way. There are memorable times for a lot who ride and the friends and love ones that they have lost to it. This is reflected in the film, but there are some great funny moments too especially from Guy Martin ... all in all a great film I've enjoyed watching loads of times, this one for your film collection, or as a gift. you'll be hard not to like this film ..10/10 for Me..

As a life long bike rider & short circuit race fan, this movie really shows you the reason & passion that drives these guys to put there life on the line.only watched 2d version, great photography & camera work(not just racing footage).sure its sad at times, but these guys live their lives doing what they love. worth a look at least once, if a bike fan you will watch many times.

as a "docu/film" they don't get much better than this and just as good if not better than the Senna Film too.

They got it spot on the follow Guy Martin as he's one hell of a fella and funny too!

This film really has got all kinds of emotions going on and the best thing about it is you don't have to like bikes to watch this it's so gripping.

Great direction and the video footage is ace along with the sound.

Can't go wrong at all in this one.

"Go to the Isle of Man and the bike sucks rabbits out of the hedges. There's nothing like it!" - Guy Martin

Saw this at the cinema as i'm a massive bike racing fan. Absolutely fantastic, it captures everything that is great about the Isle of Man TT races but also touches on the sadness and emotions involved in taking part in the most challenging bike race in the world. 3D at times is great with the racing footage shown and this is a must for all bike fans or sports fans who want to know more about the TT.
