After last years brilliant MONEY IN THE BANK,it was going to be one mighty task to match it. They don't,but they have a good go.
We start with SMACKDOWN's MONEY IN THE BANK match. This consists of CHRISTIAN,SIN CARA,TYSON KIDD,SANTINO MORELLA,LORD TENSAI,CODY RHODES,DOLPH ZIGGLER and DAMIEN SANDOW. It's certainly great chaotic fun, plus interesting to see the likes of TENSAI and SANDOW in there, but it's not quite classic, though everyone does shine at some point making it look like it really could be anyone's match and there's some great highlights.
Next we have SHEAMUS vs ALBERTO DEL RIO for the irishman's world heavyweight title,it's not brilliant, but it's certainly enjoyable enough.
Then it's PRIMO and EPICO vs PRIMETIME PLAYERS,it's plenty good enough for a fairly short match and the post match entertainment is good silly fun.
Now for what i'd say is the best match on here,as C.M PUNK takes on DANIEL BRYAN,with Punk defending his wwe title in a no dq match with AJ as special ref'.
It's two brilliant wrestlers going at it in a match to prove wwe does still care about wrestling. AJ certainly adds her oddities to this one, eevn though she gets knocked out quite early into it,but that's not the last we see of the crazy chick. I and many others loved this match, loads of highlights and near falls, really impressive.
RYBACK now squashes CURT HAWKINS and TYLER REKS,one of RYBACK's longest matches, but it doesn't last long.
LAYLA teams with KAITLYN and TAMINA SNUKA to take on BETH PHOENIX,NATALYA,and EVE,it's an okay match but very much a filler.
So the main event sees the raw MONEY IN THE BANK match as JOHN CENA joins KANE,BIG SHOW,CHRIS JERICHO and THE MIZ in a very impressive ladder crashing match of mayhem. Great start with everyone trying to prove their worth and BIG SHOW getting buried under ladders. Once again, loads of highlights in punishing fashion as the ladders get put to use. BIG SHOW soon realizes these puny ladders aren't made for someone of his girth and brings out his big friend, though why the commentators go on as if it's the first time they've seen this,i just don't know. But this aside,it's certainly entertaining stuff with an end that's a little different, recommended.
So all in all,yes it's worth the money,it's just not quite up to last years in my opinion. Anyone getting this on blu-ray has the usual top picture quality and bonus bits from RAW and SMACKDOWN including the amusing proposal from AJ to PUNK,plus there's some fairly good matches.
