It's difficult to put into words how impressive this series is, whether you are a nature lover or not. The narrative by Attenborough is consistently brilliant and the photography is fantastic beyond words. Each episode also has a 'making of' 10 minute segment at the end which is great to see. And if the content doesn't grab you, just buy the set to show off your TV as nothing else will look this good.
Can anyone tell me if there are any subtitles on this, other than "english for the hearing impared"?
This Blu Ray is without doubt the best you can buy. It was filmed in HD, so the picture quality is stunning. There are so many never-seen-before moments that you will not fail to be mesmerised and awe-struck. If you want to really see what your HD TV can do, then this will showcase it beautifully. The quality of the documentary is first rate and you have to be inspired by the hours and effort that has gone into making this. Buy it!
Does anyone know if this Blu-ray is 1080p or 1080i like Planet Earth?
Once again another fantastic tv documentry from the team that bought you planet earth. Once again it haas fantastic scenery and locations with lots of new worlds to explore. If you havent seen planet earth then this will be all new but if you have you may reconize some of the scenes. Fantastic though
