I was really looking forward to this and when I received it yesterday I was.....well, I think my header says it all - A fantastic film but a terrible blu-ray release. Extremely disappointing.
Such a shame that the extended version is not on Blu-Ray. That is what I was hoping for as it adds more to the story. Still a classic film to watch. No Doubt it will come out as special extended edition somewhere along the line \ shame ...
I wasnt sure if i should buy this film on Blu-ray as i read a lot of mixed reviews. I think it depends on what you are looking for on a disc. The picture quality on this Blu-ray release is outstanding, this is due to the fact that no extras are included on the disc and all the disc is used to give a better transfer of the movie. I was a little disapointed with the sound which I thought was a little lacking from the rear speakers at times. If you like your extras this is not the disc for you, but if its picture quality your looking for, which is what HD is all about this is up there with the best.

I am from the Netherlands, please can anyone tell me if this blu-ray have DUTCH subtitles? Thanks
This movie started off the 1990's, and set the bar high. Few films if any bettered it. The extended dvd was great with DTS sound so blu ray should be stunning. Also pleased to see this looks like the original theatrical release which IMO is superior to the extended cut. Lets hope they have done a good job....
