Having loved this film for years I decided that Willy Wonka would be one of my few upgraded titles.
The picture quality is amazing, such a good resotration job, only one scene looked a bit soft which was when Willy Wonka comes out of the facotry and it cuts to the kids, for only these couple of seconds the picture looked soft.
The extra's are also in SD which is a shame but still very watchable.
Overall at sale price a must buy from play.com.
You can really show what blu-ray can do even with an older title, order it now
superb in every way.if your used to watching t.v and vhs versions of this film then this hi def version will blow you away!great transfer and colours.some great extras,especially the cast commentry with the children who are all now grown up.is hilarious.buy with out delay.not for kids,but for adults only,lol
this is one great transfer very colurful and one of the best transfers to blu ray not like wizard of oz which was dissapointing .
a must buy for christmas.

Brilliant! - infinitely superior version to the black hearted, souless Tim Burton version.
Gene Wilder at his best - it's your call?,he is seriously excellent aided by a superb cast.
Super set design - hopfully the true colour of this production will be brought to life in hi-def.
