This is one to watch. However, considering this blu-ray why is there 5 discs.

I watched the entire series from start to finish without a break at a friends house the other night and it just flew by!

It's surprisingly quirky, funny, entertaining and definitely not for the kids (there is a LOT of flesh on display).

I can definitely recommend this, and having seen most of Series 2 as well, I can promise you it's well worth it.

Makes twilight look like a disney movie!

first being a vampire movie fan besides Twilight (if you can call it a vampire movie) i decided to buy this and to my surprise it was good as it had action , it was dark it had a great story and the vampires are the way they are meant to be . it would have been 5 but some of the actors are not that great and the emotion in it after certain deaths is not shown , for example something really bad happens to sookie and that night she is the happiest she has been throughout the whole series but besides all that a great vampire show.

  Good

Im really enjoying this. Long episodes so you wont get through it too quickly if you take your time watching it.
Ok quality in Blu-Ray. Good storyline

This really is the best thing on TV since Supernatural, i find myself waiting for the next episode and looking forward to it so much i just cant wait till sunday comes. It has such an involving and powerful story driven plot that you will curse the TV at the end of each episode because of the cliffhanger like way they end each and every episode, leaving you begging for more!

If you have yet to see this show yet then you really owe it to yourself to buy this box set, Although it is only 12 episodes long each episode is an hour long, so you do get your moneys worth and for the price of £36.99 for a 5 disk set its a real bargain.

Again, utterly fantastic show, absoulutely gripping, you really find yourself loving these characters, and with such a fresh way of looking at the vampire genre i simply can't reccomend this show enough.

Hope this review has helped the people out there who want to see the show but are still dipping their toe into the sea that is True Blood!

I'm on episode 8 of series two at the moment. The first series is the best TV I have ever watched in my life. I can't wait to see it on Blu-ray.

So far every one of my friends who have watched are completely smitten. Do yourself a favour and pre-order this now. You will not be disappointed.

Well what can you say, this series has everything for everyone. it has flesh, fangs, laughs, tears, love and a strange storyline. Saying that it was really enjoyable, vampires wanting to be accepted into society. watch and have a laugh, and the theme tune is catchy too.
