Watched Twilight on DVD, thought it was pretty decent.
Watched New Moon at the Flicks with the Mrs, and enjoyed it, a lot!!!!
The story is very Twisty Turny, Jake comes to the fore in this one, as
Edward takes a back seat. Bella is just bella.
Very good special effects aswell.
Bring on the 3rd one.
I know its not 100% like the book and i know people have not liked this film because of that reason. however, it is a very very good film the best book to film conversion for a long time.
Quite frankly I'm not a big big fan of either twilight movie, Bought this for the missus (a likley story I'm sure your thinkin') As she is a major R-patz fan and Twihard (she is also a Gleek but that has nothing to do with Twilight just thought It'd be fun to mention it as I have reffered to her by her "fan" names) Anyway, didn't much like Twilight but can say that New Moon in my opion is a better movie, more fun, light hearted, good little moments but it certainly ain't a classic...
The Blu-ray presentation is whats key in this review... The image qaulity, sound and extras are all top notch and are perfect examples of the format and why it is better than DVD... If you have the option buy the movie on Blu-ray and you won't be dissapointed...as for the film it really does depend on your tatse... I enjoyed it but wouldn't rank it high....
the blu-ray presentation of the film is as it should be.
i'm hoping that my daughter who has read the books is right in as much as the next two should produce a lot more action ( vampire that is )
i was dissapointed that the 'victoria' revenge role was barely evident, also the film took quite a while to be of real interest.
the scenes with the wolves was 'great' c.g.i. and the action in the closing scenes where 'edward' try's to protect 'bella' was what i would have wished for somewhat earlier in the movie.
the 'twighlight' saga has a huge following, the books apparently brilliant....hope number three lives up to expectations as i feel number 2 for me didn't other than a few scenes through the two hours and as i say great 'blu-ray' visualy.
