First of all as said by other reviewer's it's not real 3d, you cant use your 3d tv glasses. second, its a terrible film, cgi is like a cheap daytime movie, third, the death seens are just about all laughable! which is unlike the past brilliant films! hence the 5 pound price tag! you've been warned! ;-)
Love The Storyline, Final Destination Once Again Excites Me! The Picture Quality Is PERFECT, And The Sound Is DTS-HD Master Audio, Which Is Incredible! The 3D Version Is Good, But Not Really My Thing, As I Prefer 2D Anyday!
Loved the first three movies, but only got two minutes into this one before initiating the returns policy, as the 3D version of this film (was surprised to find 3D glasses in the box) is the pants red/green version from the 70s. Totally spoiled the high definition pictures, ruined the picture quality, destroyed the colour. VERY not happy. I didn't invest thousands of pounds on high-end 3D kit to end up watching analogue 3D. Steer clear of this one if you are after the 3D version of the film.
3D is a silly fad - anyone with a brain can see that. And it's sad that the makers of the once great Final Destination series chose to re-title the series and 'start over' with this lacklustre effort. Unlike the previous, BRILLIANT 3 FD films, this one is a film with more holes than an Irish water pipe. There are several scenes which simply do not make any sense at all, with only a casual thought given to them. Suspension of disbelief can only be pushed so far. This film is far, far worse than Final Destination 3. The acting in this film makes the previous 3 look like Othello - it's utterly appalling. I don't think I actually wanted any of them to survive longer than about 12 minutes - if only to spare themselves from ruining their potential careers in the acting profession. Of course the HD is fine - it's not going to be an issue as this was filmed within the HD age. But that's about the only good thing I can say about this. Let's hope they go back to their roots in the 5th film - due in 2011. This would otherwise be a terrible end to a once excellent series.
I recently purchased a Samsung 50in 3D TV and part of the package was a 3D Samsung bluray player, we've got a couple of 3D animated movies which are excellent so I thought I'd give this a go. Unfortunately the battery powered 3D glasses that came with my TV don't work with this movie, you have to use the included card glasses with red and blue lenses, in fairness the 3D effect is there just the left eye which is the red lens feels dark and I just kept wanting to rub my eye to clear the dark patch, couldn't bare any more than 5 minutes. Only bonus is you get the 2D bluray version in the box too. Not impressed with this.
