  A Spectacular Concert!

This is a great show, a spectacular setting, amazing music and a superb HD transfer. 'Remember when it rained' is an absolute gem... BUT! 'In Her Eyes' is a real treat, and 'Awake' is as good a tune as you're likely to hear... Notes: Lucia Micarelli on violin is superb, and a special mention for Paul Simon's bassist plugging away... Buy with absolute confidence folks!

  Amazing!

After reading the only review for this disc, I wanted to add my own - As I could not disagree more with the other (clearly not a Josh Groban fan) reviewer...
The Awake tour contains a new collection of stunning, and beautiful songs, as well as many classics...
The sound and picture quality are exceptional, and any fan would adore this dvd...
So don't be put off by the other review... If you're a fan of Josh, you'll be a fan of this dvd...
Oh, and if you get a chance to see him LIVE - Do it!! It's an experience you won't forget!!

A pity the music did not match the fantastic staging !

Without doubt a visually stunning and spectacular Blu Ray concert disc - which will in all probability go down well with his many adoring and devoted fans worldwide. But to me - apart from the mood setting opening number YOU ARE LOVED and the closing YOU RAISE ME UP - I found much of the music content to be sadly unmemorable !. Musically therefore it was hugely disappointing - and given that was why I bought the disc this accounts for the low rating. Another reason to add to the disappointment was the comparison to his earlier disc release in 2002 'JOSH GROBAN IN CONCERT' -this contained at least a dozen tracks that even now remain fresh in the mind. The bottom line I suppose is that unlike the many other music discs in my BLU RAY collection which are played regularly this one will not be !.
