X-Men Quadrilogy (Blu-ray)

the films arrived in a sealed plastic rapping but when I opened them up, the first two films had damaged cases with cuts on the plastic which holds the cover in. Perhaps I just had a rogue batch but it was 17.99 when I bought it so im not too fussed.

Please notes Xmen Origins Wolverine doesn't come with a bonus disc and the case is a quarter of the thickness of a normal bluray case, and the other three films are also less thicker than the normal cases. It seems as if the Woverine film was a rushed add on to the trilogy and doesn't have the same finished effect as the rest of the films.

I already owned this set on DVD but I wanted to experience the amazing quality of Blu Ray and oh boy I was not disappointed. The picture is absolutely astonishing on my 40" 1080p HD TV, every little detail looks stunning, you can see every tiny bead of sweat every line on someones face and scenery especially looks phenomenal. I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of these discs.

The cases are not full size Blu Ray boxes, they are slimmer than usual and the X Men Origins Wolverine case is even smaller than the other three films. This does not bother me in the slightest as it preserves more room in my DVD rack.

Lot's of extras on the discs although I have not watched them yet, there is various interviews with the cast, audio commentary and more.

Overall if you are a fan of the Marvel Comics or just a fan of Super Hero movies in general then this is definitely one worth adding to your collection and having it in Blu Ray is just that much better!

i really dont understand the negative comments about the packaging. the first 3 films come in thinner-than-usual cases, wolverines case is even thinner.and?? all fit into a box,takes up ;ess room on your shelf,and yet all still contain all extras.the blu ray transfer is amazing,as is the sound.all for less than 15 quid.whats not to like?

No other copies than the bluray and with the first three films extras on a separate disc. - the fourth ultra slim packaging which looks to be a last minute thought as it is the only one out of sync with the others with extras on the same disc. Good price if you can pick it up for the 18.00 it was being sold at previously - 39.00 I would question how good a deal that was and would consider individual purchases.
