This movie was awesome and had everything you want from a big summer blockbuster film. Massive scale action scenes with huge over the top effects sequences and just outright fun story and characters. You couldnt have more fun with a film. If youre a big fan of G.I Joe you won't be let down. If you have never seen the 80s cartoon then don't worry its just a big awesome action movie. Well worth a watch. Picture quality is good and sound is awesome on blu-ray.

 am i missing something??

I had been looking forward to this film for ages after seeing the trailers and reading the positive comments on here . Unfortunately i wish i hadn't bothered watching it... the acting was weak and some of the CGI was the worst i have seen!! If your wanting to watch a comic book style movie with Sienna Miller in a black catsuit then you may get some enjoyment, if your after more then all your going to get is Dennis Quaid lowering his acting standards and 2 hours of nonsense .

 Hollywood has done it again!

As a kid I used to play with G.I. Joe action figures, and now that I have reached the age of 27 I still felt like I needed to see the film. But trust me; even if you are a huge action fan, "G.I. Joe" the movie is a waste of time. The story is SO predictable that it hurts big time! The action sequences are seen a hundred times before, not to mentioned done a lot better in many other films.

I really enjoy watching brainless action films, but they need to have something special which seperates them from all the other, or at least acceptable acting. "Death Race" and "Crank" were both brain- and pointless but highly entertaining and very enjoyable, "G.I. Joe" is just another Hollywood product without heart, soul or a will to do a decent job. The special effects are high class though, and saves the film from a complete disaster.

The cobra may be rising, but so am I (to get away from "G.I. Joe")

 great action flick

Didn't know what to expect from this so I rented it. What a suprise. Action from start to finish with a great picture and great sound. Never understand people slagging this type of film off. The best thesps in the world will not star in these films so you get what you get. It's GI Joe so the story was never going to be taxing either so just watch it for what it is and enjoy the special effects. After all thats what these films are all about.
