As with others I agree that this is a well made film, the tension is palpable and you do get the story within itself in a measured but semi slowish decent burn, in other words it keeps you watching which has to be good, and is as the director intended and is obviously hoping. But, Imo, the ending did not come up to the rest of the story and one is left somewhat wanting. Obviously we are all different, if we were all the same life would be boring....but I expected something....er more / different for the ending. If you can buy it for a fiver or less as I did (four pounds seventy nine) then you are getting a decent buy especially as this is for a Blu-ray. The quality of the picture is average to good and the DTS HD Master 5.1 is good without being anything special.
This movie was a complete surprise to me. I had read a nice review of the movie and the quality of picture and sound, so I thought I would give it a try. No big risk, since the price was so low.
This is a nice little gem of a movie, that to me, came out of nowhere. Kind of like the movie Screamers did for me way back in 1995.
If you are in for a mystery treat, I recommend Triangle!!
This film was released with little fanfare and this is why many people have missed it but don't be fooled, this film deserved so much more plaudits than it originally received.
Also, don't listen to the one detractor that reviewed this film and gave it 1 star. This is an original and truly imaginative horror that will keep you guessing right to the end.
The story is far to complex to go into here but suffice to say it will horrify and tug at the heart strings in equal measure.
If your sick of pointless gore and unexcited by bog-standard slasher movies then give this film a go, you'll be pleasantly surprised by a cerebral, twisting plot which will keep you talking about it long after the credits have rolled.
I hugely enjoyed this film and it has more than enough creepy scares to keep the die-hard horror fan entertained while engaging you brain at the same time (something that many modern horrors fail to do these days).
Give it a go and you won't be disappointed (you'll be too busy re-watching it over and over again!).
