Apart from the great Sean Connery, this has to be one of the best Bonds!! Set in a realistic world that we can all believe in!! None of this Golden Eye or Tommorow never dies stuff!! This is action all the way!! It's right up there with with the Bourne flicks!!! You must own this movie on Blu-ray!!!

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Awesome BLU-RAY DVD

In my optinion this is an excellent example of Blue ray quality movies. This was the first Blue Ray title I ever got. When I played this on my system I was completely blown away. The detail was so good that in some scenes I got the sense of a 3D type quality to the image. Its more difficult for me to judge the sound as my set-up is not 100% at the mo. That said I think the sound on this is pretty damn good, and tops off a excellent cinematic experience.

I've been a fan of bond films for as long as i can remember, but what i can't quite recall is when going to the cinema, renting the video or spending my boxing day afternoon watching the latest bond stopped being enjoyable, in its complete since.
I don't think i'll ever get bored of the formulaic fashion in which it tells it one dimensional story, or the seemingly endless cliches it manages to delve, but it is nice to be surprised once in a while.
And i think that is exactly what this film is. It's a surprise. It's bond trying to grow up, meet the 21st centuries demands for substance over explosions, growth over stagnation, irony over bigotry.
Although i don't think it completely exercises it's demon, it certainly has matured. It's not a oscar winning movie or a classic, but it is interesting, it is new (which most bond films aren't). In a comparable sense, it's bonds' strike back at the likes of the borne series.
In more concise terms. If your a bond fan, you'll love it, if you've hated the bond series you'll like it(as long as you can give it a completely unbiased appraisal) and if your just looking for a decent action film you'll enjoy it.

The film starts well with some good action in it but later it becomes a bit bland and the plot becomes lost and confusing it also end's weird as well.

Craigs a bit wooden, and it goes on for too long but not a bad bond film.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars The best Blu-ray. FACT

A cleaner picture than kim and aggie could handle. The opening sequence on the builing site will send a grown man to his knees. The picture is so crisp i ponder if walkers were working on this film behind the scenes. You can ram the bourne ultimatum where the sun dont shine, and hd dvd while your at it. Bond on Blu-ray is where its at. I say get some bond pie into you then wash it down with a nice glass of satisfaction.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars A great return for bond

I was always a big fan of the brosnan bond movies, becuase he had his own style to james bond. Daniel Craig does the same and pulls it off brilliantly you have to remember that this is when bond becomes a double o so dont expect gadgets and the names bond, james bond straight from the start. What you do get is a excellent story and tons of action and the great thing about daniel craig as bond is he looks like he could actually kick some ass. Any loser who slates this movie or says that daniel craig isnt bond because his hair is blonde doesnt know what their talking about. Buy this film you wont be dissapointed

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Big change of direction

This is a different type of bond compared to all the other movies and it does well from it. Martin campbell did direct golden eye as well as this and has out done himself with this one, the chase scene at the start feels more like an ending scene and shows just what bond is good for. Great picture and sound quality too, on blu ray this is a great buy.
