Once again another fantastic tv documentry from the team that bought you planet earth. Once again it haas fantastic scenery and locations with lots of new worlds to explore. If you havent seen planet earth then this will be all new but if you have you may reconize some of the scenes. Fantastic though

Can anyone tell me if there are any subtitles on this, other than "english for the hearing impared"?

This Blu Ray is without doubt the best you can buy. It was filmed in HD, so the picture quality is stunning. There are so many never-seen-before moments that you will not fail to be mesmerised and awe-struck. If you want to really see what your HD TV can do, then this will showcase it beautifully. The quality of the documentary is first rate and you have to be inspired by the hours and effort that has gone into making this. Buy it!

The BBC continue to amaze us with their wildlife series of productions and this latest, using some of newest techniques show the survival of many species in awesome detail. Some of the closeups in particular are truly breathtaking. Credit must go towards the film crew who spent many tedious hours to capture this marvellous footage for our viewing pleasure. If you're into nature then you must add this Blu-ray to your collection.

The picture quality is nothing short of "amazing" and the DTS sound on this Blu-Ray edition adds to the total enjoyment of the program. It must surely rank as one of the top five "all time buys" if you like your wildlife documentaries! even better in full 1080p HD. Well worth the 30pound cost for around 10 hours of viewing. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!

Does anyone know if this Blu-ray is 1080p or 1080i like Planet Earth?

Watching this along with my six year old grandson in HD it's truly amazing.

This is the first blu-ray that I have purchased since getting a blu-ray player and it does not disappoint. Some of the visuals in HD are simply amazing.

It is well worth the price tag. The 'Life on Location' mini documentary at the end of each episode is a nice touch - they follow the camera crews and explain how each episode was filmed
