Very enjoyable film that will appeal to men and women. Im not in to chick flicks but decided to watch this with my girlfriend after a ( male ) friend recommended it. I liked it so much i told my brother to watch it with his girlfriend. 5 stars.
500 Days Of Summer (2009) is a quirky romantic indie drama starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel.
I went into this movie thinking it would be a fluffy rom-com but its actually quite a bit darker then expected. Director Marc Webb uses poptastic music and a jumbled storyline to great effect.
Deschanel is her usual beautiful and charming self but its Gordon-Levitt who makes this movie work. His performance is charismatic and compelling and will surely propel him onto bigger leading roles.
Director Marc Webb landed the new Spider-Man reboot from the success of this movie. Its quirky, fun and unexpectedly dramatic.
500 Days of Summer follows 500 days of a relationship between two people and its ups and downs! The film is amazing (me watching it 3 times in 3 days supports the point!!) A really truthful film that is fairly easy to relate to whatever age you are! Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zoey Deschanel are brilliant!! The story is great, funny, gripping but it isn't funny for stupid things but for the viewer relating and connecting to the film! It also has a great soundtrack!! Check this out, one of the best romantic comedies around!
Some people may consider this a chick flick. But it is far from that!
This film is so well shot and is so funny and has a really good story line!
This is a definite must buy for anybody may you be female or male
Was in my top 5 films of last year thats how good it was!!
